The self-adhesive polymer modified asphalt waterproofing membrane is a remarkable construction material. It utilizes synthetic rubber like SBS, along with high-quality road asphalt and tackifiers as its fundamental base material. This combination endows the membrane with excellent adhesive and waterproof properties.
For the upper surface material, options such as polyester film (PET), polyethylene film (PE), aluminum foil or silicon coated isolation film are employed. These materials not only enhance the durability and resistance of the membrane but also provide protection against various environmental factors.
On the lower surface, a silicon coated isolation film serves as the anti-sticking layer. This feature allows for easy application and installation, as it prevents the membrane from adhering prematurely.
Importantly, this is a self-adhesive polymer modified asphalt tire-free waterproofing membrane. The absence of tires in its composition further improves its quality and performance, making it a preferred choice in many waterproofing applications, whether it be for rooftops, basements, or other structures in need of reliable waterproof protection.
